Amuse Trio: Oysters with champagne mignonette, caviar crisp with crème fraîche, and seared wagyu beef with harissa aioli.
Main: Options include branzino filet with fried shishito peppers and tabbouleh salad with chorizo, seared scallops with sunchoke puree, Mediterranean black-eyed pea salad, and crispy rice, or kohlrabi noodles with spicy arrabbiata sauce, mustard frill, and pickled mushrooms.
Dessert: Valrhona chocolate mousse with whipped raspberry ganache, devil’s food cake, and crispy raspberry meringue.
Cassia Valentine's Day extends through Saturday, Feb. 17, at Cassia. À la carte specials include Singaporean chili crab dip with clay oven bread, oyster mushroom satay with peanut sauce and pickled Chinese cabbage, a whole wok-tossed lobster with chow fun noodles, and Hainanese chicken confit with duck fat fried rice. These dishes pay homage to chef Bryant Ng’s Chinese-Singaporean heritage. Reservations and walk-ins are both welcome.
Esters At Esters, Valentine’s Day is an all-day affair starting at noon. Sommelier Randall Middleton pours glasses of champagne to pair with oysters, caviar, and charcuterie boards.
