Olivia Rodrigo, RodeoHouston's Comeback, and The Eagles

As winter's chill retreats, Houston's live music scene is heating up this February. Despite ticket prices matching the fiery shows, concertgoers are undeterred. The 2024 lineup is sizzling, featuring acts like Dave Matthews Band, Alice Cooper & Rob Zombie, Bush, and Third Eye Blind.

Think of these shows as appetizers for the upcoming concert feast. Alaska-born Portugal. The Man, a Houston favorite, graced the Bayou Music Center on February 10. Known for their Grammy-winning hit "Feel It Still," the band's Woodstock album propelled them to festival fame. Now touring their latest album, "Chris Black Changed My Life," they keep the Houston flame alive.

The Eagles, minus departed members Glenn Frey and Randy Meisner, continue their musical journey at the Toyota Center. This appearance is part of their "Long Goodbye" Final Tour, with Steely Dan adding a jazzy touch to the evening.

Cold War Kids, indie-rock veterans, hit the road after opening for '80s stars Tears for Fears in 2023. Headlining with their self-titled release, the California group promises a mix of hits like "First," "Love is Mystical," and "Hang Me Up to Dry." Their new single, "Heaven In Your Hands," adds a cherry on top of this musical treat.
